The Unofficial Ballot

Silence is a statement now. So is everything else. There was a time when staying quiet meant staying safe. That era is over. When people cannot see where you stand, they do not conclude that you are balanced. They decide for you, and they usually decide wrong. Every company, every brand, and every individual is now, in a sense, on the ballot. Not once every few years - continuously. We are all being judged on a simple, demanding question: do your actions match what you say you stand for? The Unofficial Ballot is a clear-eyed, non-partisan guide to one of the defining decisions of our time. It will not tell you what to believe. It will help you decide when to speak, when to stay quiet, and how to make sure that whatever the public sees is genuinely, defensibly you.
