Life As Mask - Frazzled Lit Anthology Volume 1

In LIFE AS MASK, our first anthology, we bring you 52 of the very best short stories, creative non-fiction, poetry and flash fiction from Issues 1 - 3 of FRAZZLED LIT! - A group of young men on a post-exam holiday wrestle with their hopes for the future, and fear of failure. - A boy walks the grey streets of Galway City, and broods about his mother and her lover. - Pop culture meets Hollywood in a slasher movie fantasy. - Three girls get high as they struggle to cope with the death of a friend's mother. Since Frazzled Lit's inception in early 2024, and through five stellar issues, we have tried to do something different, something genuine and honest that resonates with the warmth and humanity of great literary fiction, memoir, flash fiction and poetry. Each of the pieces presented in this volume is unique, and resonates with emotive power. These are the pieces we wish we had written ourselves, and we can think of no greater compliment to pay the artists, whose work appears in this volume. We hope you will be as moved and inspired by them as we were when we first read them, and will come visit us at Frazzled Lit to discover even more!
