Teaching Living Latin

Designed to accompany Unus, Duo, Tres, this Teacher's Guide offers a practical and dynamic pathway for bringing Latin to life in the classroom through immersive, action-based pedagogy inspired by the Polis Method. Each lesson combines review, contextualized input, automatization, and communicative practice, helping students gradually develop spontaneous competence in Latin. The activities make extensive use of techniques such as Living Sequential Expression (LSE), Total Physical Response (TPR), games, storytelling, and collaborative work.Created for both new and experienced instructors, this Teacher's Guide transforms the classroom into a space where Latin is heard, spoken, acted, and lived.
