Why I Killed Franz Ferdinand and other essays

This book of philosophical essays, like a glass of very rare wine, gives a taste of an almost extinguished breed of Eastern and Central European bohemians, 'born under the red star', but whose idols are really Sinatra and Presley, and who are admirably passionate and eloquent about theatre, film, music and literature. And what is the author's take on the assassination of Franz Ferdinand now, after so many years? ... 'I am so delighted that English-speaking readers who have not yet had the pleasure can now share in the unique Philosophy of Finci contained within this book and then, perhaps, spend another ten years happily debating with themselves the conundrums posited herein.'
