Ecological Thrillers - Inkarri

A university student now, Lazaro, the former feral child raised by Amazon dolphins and "rescued" back to civilization, wanders the Andean ranges and comes upon the last remnants of the Inca empire. For 500 years the ayllu, the clan, has adhered to the final command of the Supreme Inca and stayed rooted in their hidden valley. But their isolation is shattered when the Peruvian government orders that the forgotten people vacate their haven to make way for a hydro project. Suddenly the one-time wild child from the jungle is their only hope. Inkarri. It means Redeemer in Quechua, the language of the Inca.
