Montezuma's Lost Garden

The adventure continues in Montezuma's Lost Garden, Book Two of Axol & Mocha's Cacao Club. After surviving the dangers beneath the rainforest, Michelle, Axol, Mocha, Professor Delgado, and their companions discover that their journey is far from over. Ancient waterways, hidden passages, cacao-scented stones, and a trail of butterflies begin pointing them toward a place people have searched for generations to find. But they are not the only ones following the clues. When a stolen codex connected to royal gardens and ancient cacao routes disappears into the forest, the Cacao Club finds itself racing after someone who believes Montezuma's legendary lost garden contains a hidden treasure. What they discover is far more important. At the heart of the ancient garden lies a remarkable system where cacao, medicinal plants, and other living specimens were once collected, studied, and distributed to different regions. The legendary "lost garden" was never simply one secret paradise. It was part of a living network created to preserve plants, knowledge, and the relationships that allowed them to survive. When the ancient water system is disturbed and a weakened causeway begins to collapse, Axol, Mocha, and their friends must use everything they have learned about water, observation, and cooperation to protect both themselves and the garden.Filled with mystery, adventure, cacao, butterflies, ancient ruins, humor, and friendship, Montezuma's Lost Garden continues the Cacao Club's journey while exploring a powerful idea: history is not something to possess. It is something to protect.
