The Man Named Chun-seong

Chun-seong enjoys a drink as much as any other man his age. One evening he comes home in a drunken stupor and discovers that Young-suk, his girlfriend, has sent him a letter declaring that she does not believe he loves her because he is 'without tears.' He sets out to see if she is being honest and is forced to confront the truth about himself. Written in the early twentieth century, Na Do-hyang gives us a glimpse into the male psyche.
